Chartering Manager (Dry Bulk)

Our client, a growing dry bulk owner and operator with their HQ based out of Singapore is on the lookout to expand their chartering desk in the local office.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in handling chartering activity for the discussed verticals.

Responsibilities:

• Marketing and growth of chartering business
• Building strong relationships with clients
• Identify prospective opportunities in other segments
• Monitor market conditions and stay up-to-date on all information
• Provide management with timely updates on market conditions

Requirements: 

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Strong established relationships in the industry
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work in a constantly changing and dynamic work environment
• Academic background within the maritime/commercial sector
