Purpose of the job

To support the Division by maintaining data bases, ensuring data quality, executing and delivering daily reports, challenging and supporting the business councils and colleagues, designing and/or recommending new tools, training and supporting end-users, maintaining system protocols by writing and updating procedures and documenting tools.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  1. To proactively undertake data analysis to understand trends across region, sub regions, product lines among others
  2. To create standard and adhoc reports to support business requirements, particularly in Salesforce and QlikView
  3. To actively engage with regional and sub regional management, understand their data requirements
  4. To support the business in the analysis and presentation of business “Regional Data”
  5. To maintain on daily basis the business data bases ensuring the correctness of the data by performing sanity checks
  6. To execute and deliver daily reports supporting functional and sub-regional heads to manage their area of responsibility including maintaining reports documentation
  7. To participate in the design of new tools by analyzing business requirements including writing specifications and documentation of the tools, supporting the development project team by identifying project milestones and establishing and/or monitoring the project progress and budget
  8. To recommend controls by identifying data management problems and developing improvement procedures
  9. To participate in the SAP and tools councils acting as a moderator to the end-users
  10. To support end-users educating business colleagues on data reporting tools acting as a trainer and/or consultant providing help desk support
  11. To support integration of reporting and data analysis between non-aligned ERP systems
  12. To support the business on Data Cleansing Exercises

Qualifications/Experience and Knowledge Required 

  • Highly numerical and analytical skills
  • Salesforces
  • QlikView
  • Power pivot
  • Understanding of systems and data bases concepts
  • Experience of working alongside operations as “Business Partner”
  • Ideally some operational experience
  • Ideally SAP experience
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
