Dry Docking Manager

• Analyze previous docking costs and invoices to identify cost optimization opportunities
• Carry out detailed comparison of shipyard quotation and provide recommendations on dry-dock options, basis costs/availability
• Comprehensive understanding of cost drivers and key commercial challenges
• Other budget related activities as delegated by the Head of department
• Liaise closely with relevant stakeholders on all aspects of dry dock planning and management and keep Technical Operations closely advised of any developments
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a ship management company or shipyard and willing to travel
• Good foundation in various class, flag and other regulatory/statutory requirements
• Added advantage of being a project lead, carrying out at least 5 dry docking
• Added advantage of project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP certifications
