A top marine organisation requires an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join their team.
The work involves a wide range of projects on both Greenfield and Brownfield sites, primarily in the Offshore industry and Marine business, although experience in onshore projects and renewable energy is desirable.

Instrumentation specialist with skills in the following areas:

  • Control and Safety Systems - both hardware and software
  • Fire and Gas systems
  • Preferable with experience in Cyber security
  • Knowledge of Electrical (LV & HV systems) and / or Telecomms would be an advantage.


You will be:

Degree qualified, Chartered Engineer, with an accreditation in Functional Safety such as TUV FS Eng or one of the recognised institutions such as the IET.

Be an experienced instrumentation specialist with experience in the oil and gas or associated industries.

You will come from a design background, preferably with field operations experience.

You will have expertise across a wide range of instrumentation, primarily related to safety systems.

Have experience of supervision of a team of engineers and designers, either as a team lead or Lead Engineer.

An Electrical / Instrumentation specialist with Design experience

Have a good general level of knowledge and expert level knowledge in some areas of Electrical & Instrumentation

Self-motivated, able to communicate with people at a wide variety of levels from graduates to senior management level.

Applicants must be proficient in the English language commensurate with the work, have UK residency and a work permit for the UK.
