Faststream has partnered with a leading international shipping company in the search for a Head of Compensation and Benefits to join their dynamic team in Malaysia.
They are looking for an accomplished manager, with strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills, to lead their payroll and benefits team.
Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that the company's employee value proposition is integrated into the compensation and benefits package offered to new talent to ensure the attraction and retainment of employees.
Using salary and labour market research, you will be required to develop and drive competitive and consistent compensation guidelines that are in line with the company culture and work environment, and so a solid understanding of the impact of compensation and benefits on organisational performance and employee value proposition is essential.
You will be managing compensation and benefits initiatives and payroll systems across their offices in Singapore, Malaysia and India and as such the ideal candidate will have prior experience and a good working knowledge of the best HR practices and employment rules and regulations across these geographical locations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a compensation and benefits position and will have knowledge of, or have worked within, the shipping industry.
