Fine Art Shipping.

Essential Candidate Criteria :

  • Good experience and knowledge of Import customs clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Removals 
  • Experience of customs processes relevant to air freight and road freight
  • Experience of issuing Air Waybill / T-docs and other shipping documentation
  • Experience of completing Customs Entries from start to finish 
  • Experience of using Customs Clearance Platforms / Systems - ideally ASM Sequoia

It will be an advantage if you offer the following :

  • Experience of Export customs clearance
  • Confidence in use of CHIEF system
  • ETFS / COW
  • Experience of Cultural Export Licenses, CITES, and CARNETs
  • IATA Dangerous Goods Policy knowledge
  • Aviation Security knowledge - ideally level CO
  • Sea Freight knowledge

Key day to day tasks :

  • Prepare essential Import Export shipping documentation 
  • Complete full customs declarations for import & export 
  • Input Customs Entries to ASM Sequoia (customs software system)
  • Liaise with wide range of internal departments to ensure client timelines are met
