The role:

  • Ensure agent’s, customer’s and sales inquiries are replied or acknowledged within 24 hours
  • Manage stakeholders’ pricing enquiries and prepare related quotation within stipulated time
  • Follow up with quotations status, through mails and phone calls
  • Provide solution for customer  in solving logistics related problem
  • Build up, consolidate and maintain good relationship with vendors.
  • Be active is market’s survey with vendors and colleagues: services, prices, trends, etc…
  • Negotiate prices with vendors.
  • Prepare monthly activity report
  • Attend monthly meetings
  • Prepare exhaustive & clear instructions when handling over confirmed shipment to CSU / OPS
  • Monitor CSU /OPS are complying with instructions and SOPs
  • Monitor CSU /OPS are communicating properly with all parties involved and in timely manner
  • Act as back up of team mates when needed
  • To take on ad-hoc tasks as and when required

The requirements:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies or Supply Chain Management
  • At least 2 years of experiences in the customer services, pricing, indoor sales support
  • Familiar with freight forwarding and logistics operations background
  • Well versed with operations cycle and customs clearance procedures
  • Good communications skills in both oral and written in English
