I am currently working with a luxury Cruise Company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Director to join the senior management team.
As Learning and Development Director you will report directly into the Vice President HR and will enjoy a varied role. You will be charged with developing, designing and executing company training and leadership development.
Responsibilities will include creating and designing new training concepts, working closely with internal leadership to best establish the needs of the business, creating a defined development strategy in the business, developing further digital learning capabilities, and researching upcoming training strategies in the industry.
You will also enjoy frequent travel to the ships - performing training and inspecting the training being given.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Strong L&D Experience - ideally working in a senior capacity within the Cruise / Hospitality industry
-Degree level qualification in HR / Learning and Development
-Excellent management and communication skills
-Excellent English (German Language skills are also an advantage)
-Well developed interpersonal skills and leadership skills
-A 'hands on' leadership style
