Job Purpose:
o Manage pre-management of contracts for new projects on nonconventional Natural Gas
solution by ensuring compliance with client requirements and highlighting Client’s value
o Plan and manage the smooth running of the pre-management contract process which
involves ensuring quality submission on technical and commercial aspects of the
contracts by ensuring clients’ requirements are met without compromising client’s
interests and governance.
• Other Key Accountabilities:
o Support pre-management for new project agreements (Time Charter Parties (TCP),
Shipbuilding Contracts (SBC), Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Framework
Agreement, Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) etc) by providing input on operational,
commercial, and financial key risks and concern areas through opportunity deal framing
and Project Risk Assessment (PRA).
o Provide assistance to Manager 2 of new contracts for new projects on conventional type
Natural Gas shipping solution.
o Develop, plan, and manage reviews, clarifications and qualifications list of the new
project agreements (Time Charter Parties (TCP), Shipbuilding Contracts (SBC),
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Framework Agreement, Sale and Purchase
Agreement (SPA) etc).
o Handle negotiation process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders until
Contract Award or ITB closure.
o Develop baselines, standard term sheets, lessons learnt and conduct from time-to-time
development of contract issues by way of sharing sessions etc.
o Provide specific guidance and motivation to drive the capability, competency, and
leadership skills of the working team to ensure that they reach their potential and able
to diversify their roles and achieve greater heights.
• Key Challenges:
o Globalization and dynamic business changes require strong market intelligence,
knowledge on supply and demand of vessels that has direct impact from global economy
and geopolitical changes.
o Working in a multi-cultural environment across multiple Countries and Locations
o Coping with increasing tender biddings and new projects and may at times be concurrent
and overlapping.
o To be ready and well equipped with processes and trained resources to meet stringent
deadlines on bid documents preparation and timely submission.
o Managing new type of Agreements for new products (LBV, FSRU, L2P, Isometric tanks
o The team require requisition of information from various departments and critical to
receive them timely through efficient communication and coordination.
o Different regulation and policies adopted by different countries internationally resulting
with various requirement to understand and comply, e.g. tax regime, local content,
company setup, etc.
o Challenges in negotiating with Charterer who is also Client’s major shareholder

The Person
• At least 10 – 12 years of relevant working experience with minimum 8 years of specific experience
in contract management/shipping operations/post fixture/chartering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/ Business Administration/ Transportation/ Law/ Finance or any
relevant specialization
