Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist the Head of Finance Shared Service Center and Head of Business Units Finance and subsidiaries in managing and executing transition activities for the setting up of new operating structure from pre-transition of service to service delivery and post-implementation monitoring
  • Coordinate and conduct knowledge transfer and onboarding sessions for internal stakeholders affected by the implementation of new processes, systems and organization structure
  • Plan, execute and monitor fit-gap assessments and service readiness assessments for the implementation of new Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC)
  • Assist in the execution of change management activities as required by the project team
  • Manage, drive and execute project activities, deliverables and required tasks as per the project timeline and milestones
  • Prepare project status reports while following established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation to keep stakeholders of all levels informed about project status and related issues
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to identify and monitor escalation of issues, project risks, resolution of conflicts and requests for changes from the original specifications by external consultants
  • Build and maintain a positive work relationship with vendors and external/internal customers
  • Guide staff capability building to ensure proper continuity and career development
  • Carry out people management responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws, continually striving to build a culture of high performance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance or equivalent with academic exposure to accounting/finance/investment/business
  • Professional accounting qualification or postgraduate degree (CIMA or Chartered Financial Analyst) is an added advantage
  • Experience in ERP Financial Solution/SAP especially in FICO is highly preferred
  • Project Management experience and ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus
  • At least 6 – 8 years of relevant experience of transition for complex projects
  • Experience in full life-cycle project development including requirements, design, development, testing and roll-out
  • Knowledge in Service Transition methodology/Migration methodology, tools and templates
  • Previous experience in Business Process Outsourcing/Centralized Delivery model will be an advantage
  • Demonstrate experience in analyzing business issue and developing a future state recommendation
  • Excellent writer and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in system integration between operating systems and SAP as well as Management Accounting is an added advantage
