These are the positions we are looking to fill for the summer Cruise 2021

Maintenance/Operation/Repair…  You will be responsible for safely monitoring, mentoring and guiding students as they tackle daily maintenance tasking during the TSSOM training cruise.
Please help us guide and influence our future Mariners as they embark on this annual journey.

We have three separate cruises this year with the following dates:
A) 17APR to 23MAY (need 4 engineering officers) (report ASAP and no later than noon on Wednesday, April 14th)
B) 08JUL to 13AUG  (need 8 engineering, 5 deck officers) (pre-cruise quarantine begins 30 June)
C) 20NOV to 29DEC  (need 9 engineering, 8 deck officers)

Partial cruise itineraries are acceptable, thus please apply even if you are unable to make the full cruise

Cruise B1 and B2 will need help from experienced Mates.  Join us as a deck watch officer or training officer and help shape future mariners.  Use your real-world experience as a teaching tool to help bring lessons learned in the classroom to life onboard STATE of MAINE!

Pay commensurate with license and experience:
Entry level 3AE/3M license - $300 per day
Mid-level 2AE/1AE .. 2M/CM license - $375 per day
Senior level CE/Capt. license - $450 per day
