Our client requires a Marine Engineer with minimum three years of working experience as a 3rd or 4th Engineer, or assigned as the Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) on board either Oil, Chemical or Gas tankers to serve as an Operations Engineer to support the installation of a tech solution and act as the on the ground liaison between the company and the end-user client.
The Operations Engineer will pay a pivotal role in the deployment of the solution across multiple end-users including ships, customer offices and suppliers in line with deployment plan agreed with each customer and under the direction of the Operations Manager. Your main responsibilities will include:
- deployment planning
- installation management
- training and process development
To be successful you will possess strong interpersonal and team working skills. You will be organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet critical deadlines, and communicate complex ideas in a simplified manner. Experience with PMS systems and installations on projects, such as dry-docking, new build commissioning is preferred.
