Description

  • Providing payroll-related information and addressing inquiries from employees.
  • Managing timekeeping systems electronically or physically collecting and reviewing timesheets.
  • Working out pay hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Creating and distributing profit and loss statements.
  • Managing direct deposits and issuing pay checks.
  • Working with the HR department to ensure that personnel data is valid.
  • Assisting the accounting department with administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Preferably, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • Working in a payroll office for at least two years.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and payroll software.
  • A working understanding of key legal regulations.
