Description
- Providing payroll-related information and addressing inquiries from employees.
- Managing timekeeping systems electronically or physically collecting and reviewing timesheets.
- Working out pay hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Creating and distributing profit and loss statements.
- Managing direct deposits and issuing pay checks.
- Working with the HR department to ensure that personnel data is valid.
- Assisting the accounting department with administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Preferably, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
- Working in a payroll office for at least two years.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and payroll software.
- A working understanding of key legal regulations.
