Faststream is pleased to be working alongside this global leading maritime software provider that is currently hiring for a Product Manager (Crewing) to join their thriving team. In this role you will be working closely with senior stakeholders, maintaining the product vision, and drawing directly from the business strategy. This is a remote position but will be reporting into the office based in London.

The role:

  • Drive the adoption and continued use of a common company agile process
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to maintain and define product vision for technology products
  • Ability to collaborate confidently with Architecture, Data Science and technical specialists
  • Communicate business problems and value statements effectively to facilitate prioritisation discussions with team members and stakeholders
  • Support the commercial team in marketing activities ad through demonstrations and documentation
  • Collaborate with customers and development team in breaking down complex problems and effectively use data and analytics layered against high-quality user research to inform the direction of the product
  • Work closely with designers, developers, and QA to ensure scope and business problems are understood

The candidate:

  • Experience in Product Management ideally with a relevant qualification
  • Experience of working in a similar environment as a product/ business analyst or project management area
  • Demonstrated leadership experience of guiding teams throughout an organisation
  • Effective communicator (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Able to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
  • ¬†Able to effectively delegate tasks
  • Maritime/ shipping related background - seafaring background with relevant shore-based experience preferred

Whilst the company have headquarters in London this is a remote, work-from-home position but applicants should have existing rights to live and work in their residing country.
