Program Manager - Submarine Systems

Responsibilities

• Champion company's portfolio of services to the US Navy & NATO submarine fleets
• Lead special project sales
• Maintain excellent customer relationships with Governmental customers
• Interface with all key stakeholders (customer, internal resources, and external suppliers) to meet contract terms on projects
• Assure all data collection; inspections; tests; and commissioning information is done properly.
• Develop external suppliers
• Review and approve purchase documents for external suppliers
• Develop estimates and proposals to customers
  • Define customer requirements
  • Obtain pricing
  • Devise man hour and material estimates
• Conduct pricing negotiations with customers

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Marine Engineering; Naval Architecture; or related Engineering
• M.S. Degree required
• 4+ years experience in manufacturing environment
• US Navy or NATO submarine knowledge
• PMP required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of MS Outlook; Powerpoint; Excel; Word software
• Knowledge of DFARS and FAR; DOD 5000PM
