Project Engineer (Engineering)

• Attend and manage dealing with vendors, designers, classification societies and flag statutory on engineering issues
• Liaise with construction team/shipyard/shipbuilder/vendors for any engineering or design issues
• Define and review technical specification for designer and equipment vendors
• Liaise with vendor to ensure machineries and equipment meet owner, class and customer requirement
• Responsible for new building vessel design and engineering to ensure vessel design meet owner and client requirement and objectives
• Ensure vessel design achieve cost efficiency
• Ensure vessel design meet IMO and flag regulations and requirement
• Evaluate and compare tender vessel requirement against newbuilding/existing vessel specification
• Provide engineering support for tenders

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Minimum degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in shipyard environment
• Possess positive work attitude
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Words, Excel and PowerPoint & Outlook
• Proficient in Auto-Cad application
