Our client is a leading owner and operator of a large fleet of vessels in the offshore wind, renewables and oil and gas sector. Due to the continued expansion of their fleet, they have an exciting permanent opportunity for a QSHE Manager to lead the QSHE Department in their UK office in Suffolk.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate for this role will take overall responsibility for the entire QSHE management of the company, including joint venture operations for a growing fleet of over 50 vessels at various sites around Europe. You will support the setup and running of QSHE for a sister company and work with all departments to ensure the fleet is operated to standard, including reviewing, and revising policies and procedures, conduct internal audits, carry out reviews, training, and drills amongst various other duties.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Shore-based QSHE and Marine Management experience overseeing a large fleet of vessels
  • Seagoing experience, having held Chief Mate or Master's Certificate of Competency desirable; any rank or ticket will be considered if relevant shore-based experience held.
  • Vessel experience with tugs, offshore support and supply, crew transfer, lifeboats, pilot boats, high-speed ferry's, workboats is desirable; other vessel types will be considered
  • Strong, established management skills

To be considered for this role, you must have the existing right to live and work in the UK and be willing to be based permanently within commuting distance of the office in Suffolk.
