Sales Development Representative - EU
       *Remote position located anywhere within the EU
Our client, a global leader in providing SaaS solutions to the maritime industry, is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team in Europe.  In this role, the SDR will work with the global sales team to drive revenue in the EU region.  This is an office based/work from home position with limited travel. Core responsibilities include:
  • Facilitate vessel/fleet additions with current customers
  • Provide lead generation, working with Business Development managers to uncover new business opportunities
  • Provide customer intelligence to the group, facilitating product introductions and content creation
  • Work with both marketing and commercial teams to ensure sales pipelines are full and active
We are looking for someone with the following:
  • University degree required
  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • MUST be comfortable prospecting/selling on the phone
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in the maritime industry and specifically technology/software strongly desired
  • Able to quickly gain industry knowledge to identify new business opportunities
