Position can be based in either CT or Houston

Our client, a leader in providing digital solutions and software to the oil & gas, maritime, renewables and utilities is looking for a Sales Director to join their team.  In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the sales, management and order income for the Americas region, including Canada, the US, Latin America and South America.  The ideal candidate will manage the sales team as well as develop and manage your own pipeline of business.  We are looking for someone with the following:

  • University Degree, MBA preferred
  • 5 plus years experience managing a sales team and the overall sales plan of the company
  • Extensive experience in the maritime industry, must have an established network
  • Experience selling technology, software, or electronics strongly preferred
  • Able to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders both domestically and internationally
  • Effective communicator, Spanish speaking skills a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the US, no visa or sponsorship available at this time
