Faststream's client is a leading provider of specialised maritime web-based software aimed at assisting the port sector. Following their recent success, they are currently hiring for Sales Manager develop new business across Europe to join their existing global sales team.
- Proactively identify sales growth opportunities
- Home-based role
- Visit key markets as well as other travel as required to develop market position
- Responsible for managing sales activities within assigned market
- Develop future sales strategy and agree sales targets
- Maintain and develop customer relationships in assigned market
- Achieve sales growth whilst also providing regular reporting and accurate forecasting information
- Demonstrated track record in sales within a marine or relevant shipping environment
- Extensive existing network within the shipping sector across Europe
- Ambitious and driven
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to efficiently close deals
- Good work ethic
- Self-disciplined and able to work independently
- Flexible to travel extensively (globally)
