Our client,  a leader in providing software solutions to the maritime and oil/gas industries, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join the company in their Offshore Division.  This is a great opportunity to join a stable organization that continues to enjoy growth each year.  Because of this growth and continued expansion, they have an immediate need for a Sales Manager for their Houston office.  In this role, you will work with the company's existing base of clients, ensuring that projects are being executed as well as uncover opportunities to present and sell additional software and consulting offerings.   We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Bachelors degree, maritime academy preferred
  • Previous sales and account management experience
  • Previous experience closing business, understanding of sales pipeline/cycle
  • Experience selling software and/or consulting in the maritime/oil and gas industries, and offshore industry
  • Must be able to match the company's technology to the potential needs of the customer
  • Self motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Able to travel throughout US Gulf and North America
