Our company is working with a well-established shipping company to add a Sales Manager to their growing Breakbulk team.
The role is perfect for someone who already has previous sales experience in the maritime industry and in shipping lines. The incumbent should be proficient in MS Office and has utilized CRM systems. The position will manage their own portfolio of clients.
- Responsible for driving sales and bringing in new business
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan to support the organization’s growth
- Liaise with agencies and freight forwarders
- Degree in any field or equivalent maritime professional certificate
- Ability to communicate and present credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with RO-RO would be preferred
- Strong presentation skills
- Good network in the marine markets
