Director of Export Sales: Maritime Shipping, Long Beach, CA
Set sales/marketing plans and revenue goals in order to increase regional export sales.
Ensure strategies are adequately met by appropriating the proper amount of resources.
Manage sales budgets, personnel and KPIs.
Report to and collaborate with the Regional Sales Vice Presidents in order to mirror national and global sales strategies for the company.
Maintain strong customer base as well foster new, long term relationships with international clients.
BS/BA degree required, Masters or degree from Maritime Academy preferred.
10 plus years as a senior Export Business Development/Account Manager with an ocean carrier.
5 years of experience managing a sales staff.
Ability to identify and capture international business (exports from North America).
Travel of up to 30% may be required.
