This is a leadership training position that will expose a talented, eager Marine Engineer to new-build projects, vessel repair and dry-dock periods, marine budgets, vendor management, and warehousing/logistics.
  • B.S. Degree in Marine Engineering (preferably from a US Maritime Academy)
  • 2+ years sailing on a USCG or equivalent engineer license (preferably with tugs or OSVs/PSVs)
  • Willingness to travel to dry-dock periods, including internationally for extended periods
  • Ability to wear many hats and learn on the fly, strong work ethic and willingness to learn a must
  • Provide maintenance and repair efforts on company's vessels
  • Make decisions for the repair department
  • Preparation of annual M&R budgeting and staff levels
  • Supervise on-going survey programs
  • Attend vessel dry-dock periods
