Our Client is a leading regional container shipping line. Due to business expansion plans they are looking to hire a Senior Trade Executive / Trade Manager to develop new SOC business.
In this position you will report to the General Manager. Responsibilities will include:

  • Work across all trades driving SOC sales
  • Develop new business and maximize existing business (hunter and farmer)
  • Ensure all space procured is fully utilized
  • Identify market opportunities in new markets through slot purchases and slot exchanges
  • Responsible for cross trade pricing and budget
  • Visit customers and potential customers locally and overseas
The ideal person for this role should have:
  • Experienced in SOC sales - likely to have around 2 to 5 years experience
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Sales drive, proactive, focused on results
