The client, an International Organization that provides Surveying, Engineering and Consultancy services to the Marine & Offshore industry is on the lookout for an experience Surveyor to join their team in Singapore. 

The Surveyor (Class) undertakes inspections of ships for the purpose of classification and may also carry out statutory ship surveys on statutory items on behalf of the Flag State. Upon the completion of the surveys, the Marine Surveyor prepares reports on the surveys conducted, recommends actions and submits the reports for the update of class certificate.

Key responsibilities will involved in marine casualty surveys for insurers and P&I clubs, machinery failure investigations, condition surveys & risk assessments, accident & fatality investigations, witness experts & litigation consultancy, lose of hire surveys, pre-purchase inspections and damage assessments on ships and marine structures.

The surveyor must have a COC 1, able to communicate fluent in English and/or Mandarin and/or Bahasa Indonesia (to communicate with counterparts in different countries) and 5 years of experience as a Surveyor.
