Technical Service – Marine

• Meet Customer Technical Service requirements of Marine
• Co-ordinate and perform field trials, monitor results and summarize results into field trial reports
• Technical advisor for product use with regards to engine and marine fuel application
• Literature work, technical notes, bulletins & also technical article for publication
• Project work
• Continuous support to sales & customer visits
• Follow regional legislation as well as IMO activities.
• Co-ordination of marine fuel analysis & evaluation work
• Generate knowledge about all marine fuel grades including HFO/bunker as well as MDO/MGO
• Understanding of HFO Residual fuel oil properties and performance
• Occasional ship visits mainly in Singapore for above(5%)
• Occasional business trip travel around the region to support sales(20-30%) post Covid

Role Requirements:  What is the expected level of knowledge1. Qualified to degree level or equivalent with 5 years relevant experience 2. Excellent numeracy and communication skills, oral, written and presentational.  Confident presenter comfortable with delivering often complex data3. A good understanding of current and future relevant legislation 4. Good problem solving skills.  Role involves use of significant initiative, product understanding and retrieval and collation of information from several locations5. Excellent communication skills, oral, written and presentational including in Chinese 6. Networking skills in technical and business arenas
