Vessel Operator - LNG - Miami, FL
Our client is looking for an experienced Vessel Operator to join their team in Miami.  In this role, you will utilize and leverage your previous vessel operations experience to coordinate activities with owners, traders, and brokers.  Ideally you will have experience with gas carriers.  You must be comfortable working multiple projects at once to ensure that all voyage orders are being met and the charter party terms are being satisfied.  We are looking for someone with the following:
  • University degree, maritime academy preferred
  • Sailing time on Gas Carriers preferred - tanker time will be considered
  • 3+ years of previous shoreside operations experience required, must have experience taking financial responsibility for the voyage
  • Shoreside experience with Gas Carriers is a plus
  • Effective communicator, interacting with shipboard officers, office personal, agents, cargo interests, etc
  • Able to work well within a small working team with little supervision, comfortable managing multiple voyages simultaneously
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the US, no Visa or sponsorship opportunities at this time
