The Job

You will be a member of our Vetting department, supporting the safe operation of the company fleet of tankers and its compliance with OM industry standards.

As a Vetting Manager you are the cornerstone in ensuring that industry standards are integrated into everything we do. You will be responsible for keeping a close monitoring and cooperation between the vessels and the office and influencing colleagues in delivering safe and efficient operation. Finally you ensure that we do not only comply, but that we are always stepping up to ensure the comply with  the highest standard of operation.




Take a leading role in improving the safety culture

Handle customer vetting inspections in a teamwork

Conduct pre-vetting inspections & corresponding follow-up to deficiencies raised, so as to assure the best result.

Ensure that company safety standards are an integrated part our everything we do/ensure compliance to safety standards and regulations

Handle daily communication with the vessels, office and external parties in matters related to inspections (PSC-Vetting-CDI etc)

Your Profile


You have an education as Master Mariner, or a similar maritime background.

You have some experience working in vetting departments of Oil Majors.

You have thorough insight into Safety, quality, risk management and vetting, preferably from the tank industry.

You are motivated by a hectic environment where priorities are constantly challenged and innovation is daily business

You keep a narrow focus on quality and detail, but at the same time you never lose sight of the big picture

Good English skills both in speaking and writing, Spanish desirable but not compulsory. Russian language it is also a plus.

You never compromise safety and you are not afraid to influence your colleagues in how to handle a safe and efficient operation; likewise you step in and intervene if things are taking a wrong direction.

You are a true team player and understand the importance of establishing good relations with your counterparts in order to obtain excellent results.


You are an open and outgoing person with a good sense of humor, you thrive in a global environment working with people from all over the world.
