Voyage Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Our client, is a major player in the LNG shipping industry. This Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Voyage Manager position is based in London and reports to the Fleet General Manager. The roles' responsibility is to ensure compliance with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) under the Safety and Environmental Policy and to achieve the Quality Objectives stated in our clients Mission Statement.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT   
Our client stands as a global leader in LNG vessel ownership and ship management, offering technical support for the safe operations and maintenance of their LNG fleet.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have have the following skills and experience, (but not limited to):-

• Ideally you have served in the capacity of senior management on sea going vessels for at least one year or hold a relevant Marine degree qualification.
• Ideally you will have worked in a similar position for a ship management company for at least three years.
• Be conversant and experienced with all current maritime environmental regulations
• The right to live and work in the UK is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role responsibilities will include, (but not limited to):-

• Being the Company lead in managing efficient voyage operations.
• Control costs through monitoring ship performance and deviation.
• Support NETA in negotiations with Charterers.
• Ensure Customer satisfaction in terms of ship voyage management.
• Lead and Guide ships staff in efficient voyage operations.
• To manage ships environmental performance.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE
