Shanghai: Ukrainian company KDM Shipping Public has announced that it has signed a renewed shipbuilding contract with Jingjiang Nanyang Shipbuilding under which it will increase of the number of newbuild 6000dwt bulkers at the yard from four to six.
According to the contract, ship construction will start in 2013 with delivery of the first vessel within 15 month and the last ship within 27 month from the start of construction, with the price for each vessel reduced from US$13,477,500 to US$8,482,000 [06/12/12]
