Keppel Gas buys LNG from Petronas

Singapore: Keppel Gas has entered into a framework agreement with Malaysia's Petronas LNG to purchase up to 1m tonnes of LNG per year, over 10 years.

The deal is conditional upon Keppel Gas obtaining the approval and import licence from Singapore's Energy Market Authority.

Keppel Gas said the deal will bolster its portfolio of natural gas and allow it to offer competitive gas supply options to its customers in Singapore.

Currently, Keppel Gas, a subsidiary of Keppel Infrastructure Holdings, has two existing agreements with Petronas for piped natural gas. [05/11/14]
