Keppel Shipyard arrests chemical tanker in Singapore

Singapore: A small chemical tanker owned by South Korea’s Transchem Shipping has been arrested in Singapore after Keppel Shipyard submitted a payment claim to the city’s High Court.

The TCS Dream (3,600 dwt, built 2009), which is managed by Korea-based KS Shipping, was arrested on December 24.

Keppel Shipyard’s claim is for outstanding payment of S$205,000 ($155,000) for repairs on the vessel. [30/12/14]
