Kim Heng wins another AHTS contract

Singapore’s Kim Heng Offshore & Marine Holdings has secured a spot charter contract for one of its anchor handling tug supply vessels.

The contract will see the company’s 2009-built AHTS  Bridgewater 130 perform towage of a tender rig from Singapore to Brunei for an undisclosed oil major.

The latest contract award follows shortly after the company sealed one-year charters for AHTS vessels Bridgewater 131 and Bridgewater 132.

Kim Heng bought the three anchor handlers last June from Swiber for a bargain price of $9.6m.
