Klaveness declares option on combination carrier

Norwegian owner Klaveness, via its newly formed company Klaveness Combination Carriers, has declared an option at China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding for a combination carrier.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery during the second quarter of 2020, and adds to the four it already has under construction at the yard.

Klaveness Combination Carriers was formed in April and is now on track to have a fleet of 14 vessels by 2020.
