Klaveness exercises options at two Chinese shipyards

Shanghai: Norwegian owner Klaveness announced that it has exercised an option for the construction of one 80,500dwt bulker at Zhejiang Ouhua shipbuilding bringing its orders at the shipyard to three vessels. The third vessel is expected to be delivered in January 2017.

Klaveness has also declared an option for two 82,000dwt bulkers at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding and has resold the contract for one of the vessels to an external party. [03/04/14]
