Konsortium Logistik ceo resigns

Kuala Lumpur: Konsortium Logistik (KLB) chief executive officer and executive director Datuk Che Azizuddin Che Ismail has resigned from the company to pursue his personal business opportunities.
In the meantime, managing partner (investment) of Ekuiti Nasional Bhd Syed Yasir Arafat Syed Abd Kadir will chair the executive committee of KLB pending the appointment of a new ceo.
Che Azizuddin, who has been with the company for 17 years, was appointed executive director of KLB in 2007.
He was subsequently appointed CEO in October 2010 following the acquisition of a majority stake of 56.5% in the company by Ekuinas for a total sum of RM206.57m.
“After more than 17 years in KLB, the decision to leave was very difficult but I believe this is the right time for me to pursue my own entrepreneurial ambitions. I am proud with what I have achieved at KLB and seeing it transformed into one of the leading Malaysian logistics companies,” Che Azizuddin said in a press statement.
