KrisEnergy and Keppel to cooperate

Singapore’s KrisEnergy has entered into a cooperation agreement with Keppel FELS and Keppel Shipyard, two shipbuilding subsidiaries of compatriot company Keppel Corporation.

Under the agreement, KrisEnergy has appointed Keppel as preferred contractor for a series of work and services including newbuilding, repair, conversion, upgrading and chartering of a range of marine assets and vessels.

The marine assets include FPSOs, FSOs, floating cranes, barges and tugs.

“As the preferred contractor under the Cooperation Agreement, Keppel will be able to offer the KrisEnergy Group a comprehensive suite of offshore oil and gas solutions as the latter enhances its assets in Asia,” Keppel said in a release.

Keppel is a major of shareholder of KrisEnergy, controlling about 67.33% shares in the company.
