Kristian Gerhard Jebsen orders kamsarmax pair at JMU

Norwegian company Kristian Gerhard Jebsen has placed an order at Japan Marine United for the construction of two 82,000 dwt kamsarmax bulk carriers.

According to shipbroking sources, the price for each vessel is $33m and delivery is scheduled in 2020.

The vessels will not be equipped with scrubbers.

Kristian Gerhard Jebsen operates a fleet of 42 vessels, made up of 21 bulkers, five combo carriers and 16 tankers.
