KS Energy wins new jack-up rig contract in Indonesia

Singapore’s KS Energy and its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Atlantic Oilfield Services, have won a contract for jack-up rig KS Java Star.

The work is based in Indonesia and expected to commence during December 201. KS Energy said that the contract value is around $2.8m.

The jack-up rig was available after a contract for work with its joint operation partner, Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia, was cancelled.

KS Java Star has mostly been deployed in Indonesia’s West Madura oilfield, located off the coast of Java.
