KSS Line secures second Trammo Gas charter

Seoul: KSS Line from South Korea has won a time charter contract from Houston-based ammonia trader, Trammo Gas.

Trammo Navigation will take a 38,000 cu m LPG carrier that KSS ordered at Hyundai Mipo earlier this month. This is the second charter deal the pair have concluded this year.

Both ships deliver in 2017 and will go on charter for five years at a daily rate of $21,000.

KSS has said it sees global ammonia trades growing exponentially in the coming years and has plans to order more ships tied to long-term charters.
