KSS orders chemical trio at Dae Sun

South Korea’s KSS Line has ordered three small chemical tankers at compatriot Dae Sun Shipbuilding. The 3,500 dwt vessels are costing around $13m each and will deliver from late next year. The KSS fleet currently has four chemical tankers as well as a variety of other ship types.

A number of South Korean operators have been ordering chemical tankers in recent months including Woolim, Heung-A and HNCC.
