Kumiai Navigation orders another LPG carrier at Sasaki Zosen

Singapore-based Kumiai Navigation is continuing the expansion of its LPG carrier fleet, having ordered another LPG carrier at Japanese yard Sasaki Zosen.

Delivery of the 5,000 cu m vessel is scheduled in February 2020.

The order follows the company ordering a 5,000 cu m LPG carrier at Sasaki Zosen in February for delivery in July 2019.

Traditionally a bulker owner, Kumiai Navigation currently operates a fleet of ten bulkers with another four LPG vessels under construction at Kawasaki Heavy Industry and Sasaki Zosen.
