Kyklades adds two more suezmax tankers at Hyundai Samho

Alafouzos family-controlled Kyklades Maritime has placed an order at Hyundai Samho in South Korea for the construction of two 158,000 dwt suezmax tankers.

The order adds to four 158,000 dwt suezmax tankers currently under construction for Alafouzos-controlled companies at the shipyard.

The latest two ships are scheduled for delivery in May 2021, following the delivery of the initial two ships in the third quarter of 2020.

According to Hyundai Samho, the value of the order is KRW159bn ($132m).
