Mumbai: Larsen & Toubro has announced that subsidiary, L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), has won an offshore contract from Indian multinational Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Bassein Development Project.
The contract is valued at INR2715 crores ($426.4m) encompasses total engineering, procurement, construction and installation for the project which ncludes a new process platform with gas processing and compression facilities, a nine-slot well head platform, topside modification on existing platforms, associated subsea pipelines and a living quarter platform in the Bassein Field.
The project, which was won against international competitive bidding, is scheduled for completion by December 2017.
