Latsco orders product pair

UK tanker company Latsco has gone to South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard to order a pair of product carriers. The 50,000 dwt ships will deliver in 2017 with options for two more that could deliver in 2018 and come with a price tag of $35m each, brokers report.

Established in London in 2006 Latsco is engaged in product carriers and VLGCs, two sectors that have soared in recent months, but have also been seen many new orders pile in at yards in East Asia.
