Lepta Shipping signs for up to 12 kamsarmaxes at Yangzijiang

Bulk carrier orders continue to flood in. Tokyo-based Lepta Shipping has returned to Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, signing for 10 firm 82,500 dwt kamsarmaxes in a deal that comes with two options. 

The firm vessels are due for delivery from the first quarter of 2026, and close out the yard’s slots through to early 2027. 

Lepta has ordered boxships, capes and kamsarmaxes at Yangzijiang over the past six years.
