Logindo plans more acquisitions this year

Jakarta: Indonesian shipping line Logindo Samudramakmur has taken delivery of its 61st vessel, an anchor handling tug supply vessel built in Batam.

Logindo president director Eddy K Logam said the ship will be chartered next week to Total E&P to support Total’s exploration activities around the Mentawai islands in West Sumatra province.

Logindo previously announced that it planned to set aside around $80m to acquire four or five new vessels this year.  [14/05/14]
