Dalian: The northeast Chinese port, Longkou, Shandong province, is to add three 50,000 tons-class berths.
The three new berths are open to foreign ships, and have an annual handling capacity of 6m tons.
The launch of the news berths could further improve the port’s function and throughput, the port operator said. [10/01/14]
