Longyuan Zhenhua orders wind turbine installation platform at ZPMC

Chinese offshore engineering service provider Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering has placed an order at Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC) for the construction of an offshore wind turbine installation platform.

The platform will have a lifting capacity of 2,500 ton.

Earlier this month, Longyuan Zhenhua secured a EPC contract for the development of Guangdong Yudean Zhanjiang Wailuo offshore wind farm, which will include the installation of 36 wind turbines and one offshore booster station.

Longyuan Zhenhua is 50/50 joint venture between ZPMC and China Longyuan Power Group. The company currently operates two wind turbine installation platforms, both built by ZPMC.
